KAISER, Carole A.

Carole Anne (Chicken) Kaiser, 73, of Chippewa Falls, WI and formerly of La Crosse, WI, went peacefully to be with the Lord on Sunday January 22, 2012 at Wissota Health Reflections Hospice Unit in Chippewa Falls.

Carole was born February 21, 1938 to Fred and Ethel Chicken, in La Crosse, WI. She was one of five siblings. On April 19th, 1958, she married Richard E Kaiser and together they had 7 children. They later divorced.

Carole was a devoted Catholic, and believed deeply in her faith and trust with the Lord. She enjoyed raising her children, and being apart of raising other people’s children through in home daycare. As a young girl she loved to ice skate, she loved to fish, and she loved hanging out with her Dad. She enjoyed watching her children play a good game of ball, and being together afterwards on the patio. She also loved her alone time so she could crochet and knit. She took great pride in decorating her home to always make it feel warm and welcoming. There was never a holiday or gathering at our home that didn’t include a stranger being welcomed in and more than enough food and dessert to feed everyone.

She will be incredibly missed by her children, son; Richard J. (Barbara) Kaiser of Onalaska, WI., and their children Jessica, Jordan and Kaleb,  daughter; Karen L. (Ernie) Bell of Dakota, MN., and their children Matthew and Tia., son; David J. Kaiser of Onalaska, WI., and his children Dylan and Kaylie; son; James A. Kaiser of Frisco, TX; daughter; Jennifer L. (Travis) Thatcher of Chippewa Falls, WI., and their children Grayden and Beckett; and son: Andrew G. (Celia) Kaiser of Madison, WI., and their children Bella and Ana, and one great-granddaughter; Jaden,  sister; Elaine Maddox; brother; Mike Chicken, sister: Irene Ihle, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Gregory, and one brother Gerald (Mickey), and the father of her children Richard E Kaiser.

We are so grateful, thankful and appreciative of the amazing care our Mom received throughout her stay at Wissota Health and Vent Center over the last 14 months, and to St Joseph’s Hospice over the last week. Also a special thanks to Larissa and Julie for always being there and maintaining Mom’s independence as long as possible.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday, January 28, 2012, at Blaschke & Schneider Funeral Home, 1501 West Ave. So., La Crosse, Wis. Rev. Charles Stoetzel will officiate. Family and friends may call from 9:30 AM until the time of services in the funeral home on Saturday.
