Douglas C. Miller

Douglas C. Miller, 74, of French Island, WI passed away on May 27, 2018 at Gundersen Health System with his wife , daughters, and family by his side.

Doug was born April 19, 1944 to Charlie & Judy Miller. He grew up in La Crosse, WI.

After serving in the Army; he met Karen Ender in 1965 and they were married on March 4, 1967.

Doug is survived by his wife Karen, his 3 girls, Lori (Mark) Vernetti, Michelle (Jeff) Schroeder and Jennifer (Cory) Newman;  his grandchildren: Alaina, Domenic, Jacob and Lily Vernetti; Ethan & Declan Schroeder, Damien and Jordan Newman; his Great-grandchildren, Jackson Vernetti and Sawyer Jones (Vernetti).

Doug is also survived by his Mother,  Judy Miller of La Crosse,  his brother Duane (Stella) Miller of Racine, WI. , numerous family & friends who will all miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his father.

Doug had a love of life. He enjoyed hunting with his buddies; gardening in his yard; riding his cycle on country roads with his wife Karen and friends; sharing a drink and a story.
