CANTAFIO, Eloise F.

Eloise ‘Ellie’ F. Cantafio, age 66, of La Crosse, died Sunday June 14, 2015, in her home. She was born January 13, 1949, in Jacksonville FL, to Ernest and Georgette (Washburn) Lowe. Ellie married Alfonso F. Cantafio on December 29, 1993, in Bullhead City, AZ.

Ellie loved spending time with her grandchildren, traveling with her husband to Laughlin Nevada, and golfing in her free time.

She is survived by her husband; Alfonso, two children; Joseph (Karen) Olson, and Matthew (Michelle) Olson, four Step-Children; Thomas Cantafio, Gerald Cantafio, Linda (James) Meagher, and Allison (Steven) Scala, 14 Grandchildren, and 6 Great-Grandchildren. She is also survived by 2 sisters; Myra ‘Darlene’ (Thomas) Belshe, and Beverley (Robert Wright) Lowe, one brother; Walter (Andis) Lowe, and many nieces and nephews.

Ellie was preceded in death by her parents; Ernest and Georgette, one son; Sean Olson, 3 sisters; Carol Lowe, Rosalind Cousins, and Loretta Lowe, one brother; Ernest Lowe, and her Step-Father; Elmer Kesselberg.

A visitation will be held from 9:00 to 12:00 AM, Saturday, June 20, 2015, at Blaschke & Schneider Funeral Home, 1501 West Ave. South. A Prayer service will start at 11:00 AM. Burial will be held in Fox Lake, WI at a later date.
