Harold R Jerue

Harold R. Jerue, 70 of La Crosse, Wis., died Sunday, October 30, 2016, in Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center, La Crosse, Wis.
Harold was born February 4, 1946, to Harold A. and Laura (Ray) Jerue. He married Janet L. Ebner on July 2 1977. He graduated from Aquinas High School from the Class of 1964. He worked for Mc Donald’s Courtesy Corporation from 1964 to May of 1970. Harold played Bass Guitar with several local bands from 1963 to 1975. He was a member of the Musicians Union and the American Confectionery Union, retiring from both as a member in good standing. Harold was employed by Trane Co. as a Business Analyst for 34 years, retiring in 2004. He then revived “The Stingrays Band” with Scott Jungen and Ron Harper and played in the La Crosse area.
Harold loved hunting and fishing and was a member of the NRA, Holmen Rod and Gun Club, Wisconsin Bowhunters and Ted Nugent’s United Sportsman of America.
Harold is survived by his wife; Janet of La Crosse, Wis., daughters; Lisa (Brian) Goihl, their children William, Mara, Garrett, Jacquelyn (John) Dever, their children Ashley and Calvin; sons; Brian (Sandy) Jerue, and their children Jared, Quintin and Ephrem; Jeffrey (Kerry) Jerue and their children Peyton, Karson and Camron; and Joseph Jerue. He is further survived by one sister Mary Jerue, and one brother Michael (Barb) Jerue, and many in-laws.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and an infant twin brother.
A funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, November 5, 2016, in St. James the Less Catholic Church, 1032 Caledonia St., La Crosse, Wis. Msgr. Charles Stoetzel will officiate with burial to be held in the Catholic Cemetery, La Crosse, Wis. Family and friends may visit from 9:30 AM until the time of Mass on Saturday.
