John, Kim and I are so sorry for your loss and sorry we were unable to attend services for Helen. Helen was such a dedicated educator helping many young people in La Crosse. For me personally, remembering when I moved to La Crosse and how the Class of '66 Aquinas friends welcomed me when I started dating Kim. I certainly include you and Helen in those wonderful memories. It was a privilege to know her, may she rest in peace. Kim and Sandy Linhart

Helen was an amazing human being. I am so grateful I had the chance to know her. She had such a vibrant and strong spirit. I have always been grateful for our time together when she was recovering from surgery after the breast cancer. Much love to you John and John Howard.

Helen was a beautiful woman with a beautiful soul. In 1986, she was responsible for turning me into a Red Raider for life, and I will always be thankful for that. We had so much fun working together, and she will be sorely missed by many. Please accept my heartfelt condolences. RIP HIP!

Sending sympathy and prayers. The Howlers who have gone before Helen, Janine and Kay, will be there to greet her. May they continue their fun lunches and happy conversations as they did years ago. I know my sister cherished her Howler friends. Peace to all. Gloria and John

Helen made me laugh soo hard, soo many times. She was one of the funniest neighbors I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. (John wasn't bad either) Neighborhood on 20th was a "little" rowdy when we were there. Hard to imagine it got more so. Mrs P probably had a hand in that. She was a wonderful friend.

I had the privilege of being a classmate of Helen at Aquinas and got to know the teenage Helen. Since our graduation, our paths separated but I kept up with little tidbits from my mom who was a receptionist during Helen's early years at Central HS. It was great to read what a good life she led. My condolences to her family and friends. May Helen rest in peace. Mary Kamla Stein
