Patricia Ann Keaveny

Patricia “Pat” Ann Keaveny, 87, died peacefully on July 14, 2017, at Bethany
St Joseph Care Center.  She passed from us with the same dignity and
strength with which she lived.

Pat was born in La Crosse on Aug. 26, 1929 to Robert and Pearl (Newman)
Schelble.  She attended Holy Trinity Catholic grade school and Aquinas High
School.  She married Francis “Rail” Keaveny on May 26, 1951.  They were
married for 56 years until the time of his death on Dec. 7, 2007.

Pat worked at Carl Noelke & Co. church supplies for many years as a sales
clerk until the time of her retirement at 80 years of age.  She was very
proud of this.  We are thankful to mom and dad for teaching us by example a
strong work ethic.

Pat was a loving wife, daughter, sister, mother, aunt, grandmother, and
great-grandmother.  Her generosity and quiet manner will never be forgotten.

She is survived by her daughters Barbara (Steven) Franke, Patricia L.
Keaveny, Nancy Washington; son Michael (Dawne) Keaveny; grandchildren Joel
(Margaux), Jamie (Alex), Joshua, Nathan (Jen), Marc (Kate), Amos, Ty,
Melissa (Steve), Matthew (Rebecca); great-grandchildren Elijah, Naomi,
Morgan, Addison, Ethan, Aiden, and Liam; sister Mary (Richard) Miller;
brothers Robert (Rita) Schelble, William (Edna Rose) Schelble; and many
nieces and nephews.

Pat was preceded in death by her husband Francis “Rail”; daughters Kathleen
Iseli and Mary Blankenship; brothers Fr. Mike Schelble and Dr. Daniel
Schelble.

A private Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated by Fr. Larry Berger on
Saturday Aug 19 at 10:00 a.m. at Mary Mother of the Church with burial at
Woodlawn Cemetery.

The Blaschke & Schneider Funeral Home is assisting the family with
arrangements.

Memorials may be given to Mary Mother of the Church or the Aquinas
Foundation.

The family would like to thank the staff at Bethany St. Joseph Care Center
for their kind and compassionate care.
