Warren F. Stark

Warren F. Stark, 90, died Saturday, April 27, 2013, in Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center.

He was born in Sparta, Wis., to George and Beatrice (Leek) Stark on April 21, 1923. On June 31, 1947, married Dorothy Pulford and together they had two daughters.

Warren was a avid hunter, fisherman, Pilot, woodworker and gunsmith. He also enjoyed spending time with his good friends at Coney Island in Bridgeview Plaza once a week.

He is survived by his daughter, Therese Stark of Marshall, Wis. one sister; Marylyn Gardner of Arz., sister-in-law; Lilah Stark and her family of Sparta, Wis., and two family friends; Ricky Lee Cornwell of La Crosse, Wis., and Philip Miller of La Crosse, Wis.

He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy, on May 21, 2011, a daughter, Denise Stark, a granddaughter, Jessica Erickson, his parents George and Beatrice Stark, three brothers, Harley, Milfred and De Von Stark.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on May 1, 2013, in Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1201 Avon St., La Crosse, Wis. Rev. David Leistekow will officiate with burial to be held in the Burns Cemetery, rural Bangor, Wis. Family and friends may call from 10:00 AM until time of services at the Church on Wednesday.
