HAUSER, Doris G.
Doris G. Hauser, 102, of La Crosse, Wis., died Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, in St. Joseph Rehab Center, La Crosse, Wis. She was born in Stoddard, Wis., on June 19, 1910, to Joseph and Hazel (Twite) Dingeldein. She married Harold Hauser May 3, 1930, in Winona, Minn. She attended local schools and graduated from Central High School in 1927. Doris worked at the Garment Factory and Auto Lite until they closed. Â
She is survived by one daughter; Joyce (Hank) Striegel of La Crosse, Wis., 10 grandchildren: Bonnie Striegel, Mike (Sherry) Striegel, Jean (Jeff) Worth, Donald (Linda) Striegel, David (Bobbi Jo) Striegel, Clayton (Sharron) Hauser, Richard (Sue) Hauser, Brian (Debbie) Hauser, William (Lisa) Hauser and Sallie (Tim) Schrader, one grand-son-in-law; Keith Nolte Sr. 19 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great grandchildren. She is further survived by her sister; Ruby Thompson of La Crosse, Wis. She is further survived by two sisters â€“in-law; Charlene Dingeldein and Arlene Dingeldein.
She was preceded in death by her husband Harold G. Hauser on Feb. 1, 1981, one son James H. Hauser, one granddaughter Sue A. Nolte, grandson Ronald Hauser and one great-grandson Cole Ruhter, five sisters; Vera Slindee, Emily Greeno, Gertrude Hauser, Hazel Nagle and Elaine Mizomi, three brothers George, Joseph and James Dingeldein.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, December 5, 2012, in Blaschke & Schneider Funeral Home-Nelson Chapel, 1007 Caledonia St., La Crosse, Wis. Rev. Scott Mc Murray will officiate with a burial to be held at a later date in Hauser Cemetery, Onalaska, Wis. Family and friends may call from 10:00 AM until the time of services in the funeral home on Wednesday.
The family would like to extend a special â€œThank Youâ€ to Dr. Stephan Pavela and Karen Voight for the wonderful care given to our mother. Also, the ladies on 2nd floor of Heritage Haven Apts. Virginia La Fleur, Pat Koula and Marian Houge for the gentle care of Mom.
