For most of her life Dorothy as a homemaker and she was an excellent seamstress. She made many drapes and slipcovers. Dorothy also loved to knit and crochet and made many beautiful afghans for both family and friends.

Dorothy eventually moved to La Crosse to be closer to her sister and family. For the past 5 years she resided at Bethany St. Joseph Nursing home. Dorothy loved the crafts and activities at BSJ and always looked forward to Bingo! She developed many special friendships with many of the staff and residents over her time at BSJ. Dorothy loved all animals (especially cats!) and enjoyed when visitors brought their dog or cat with them to visit her.

Dorothy was a very kind and caring person who was so easy to love if you were fortunate to be able to spend a little time with her. She will be missed by many who loved this very special lady.
