To all the Flynn’s, Mrs. Flynn was an extraordinary woman, and she was so generous, kind and fun. I will always remember how warm she was to all of the Curran’s - who all admired her from the very first meeting, Please accept my condolences. Mark Curran

Dear Liz, keeping you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. While my personal memories of your Mom are few, I remember very well how amazing she was. One of the most genuine and classy woman that I have ever met. Some of the stories that Cathy shared with me over the years about your Mom were testimony to that. I will never forget her kindness for opening her home up to strangers when my own mom died. I love you Liz. Hope to keep in touch. Mary

To Ellen F. Flynn's family, including Fr. Bernard McGarty: We're saddened to hear of the passing of Ellen. During the time I knew her, Ellen was a very decent woman, who thought about life deeply, including education, religion, & politics. It used to be nice to visit her brother Bernard's home when she lived there late in life. Ellen had a good sense of humor, & was very generous like her brother. I hope her entire family knows how much we friends feel saddened by her passing, but are made happy by the pleasant memories her life created. Bless you, Ellen, & your entire family.--From David Joseph Marcou in La Crosse.

To the entire Flynn family, I am so very sorry to hear about Mrs. Flynn’s passing. Richard and Ellen Flynn were like a second set of parents to me, I probably spent as much time on Fiske Hill as I did at my own home. They were the kindest and most generous people I have ever known, you always felt welcome with them. Mrs. Flynn would think nothing of it to prepare you a complete dinner at midnight or one o’clock in the morning after a night out partying. My fondest memories of growing up in Southbridge usually involved the Flynn’s in some way. Some people stay in your heart and thoughts your whole life and the Flynn’s are those people for me. Love to all of you! Patrick Moriarty.
