To Dick and Brad……although it had been a while since I’ve seen Jane, I was so saddened by her passing. What a great lady! We shared a passion for dogs, and she sure made life wonderful for so many of her 4 legged friends. But she also made the world better for those she crossed paths with. She was a great mother, a great wife and a woman who lived her passion! My deepest sympathy on your loss….the world has lost a great lady!

Jane loved to laugh. She always had a joke at the ready, always trying to bring a smile to someone’s face. This photo was taken during a birthday luncheon. She told me it was one of her favorites. Jane was very compassionate. I will always remember her taking Lily (her beautiful dog) to visit pediatric oncology patients. She cared so deeply for each of them. She also started the “Reading to Lily” program at one of the Onalaska elementary schools. It was a passion of her’s. We were friends for nearly 50 years. Our friendship was not perfect, but after a falling out, we would always find a way back to that friendship! We held the memories of each other’s lives, we knew each other’s secrets. She gave advice, listened intently. I felt privileged to be one of her supports during difficult times. Jane never met a dog she did not like. Molly, Aspen, Lily, Raleigh, Sawyer, Lucia and Moses. So fortunate to be part of her life! They were all her “Heart Dogs” I could go on and on, too many memories for this page. How to say good-bye to a friend such as Jane? I don’t think I ever will, most likely a “see you later, save me a spot in Heaven”

I have lost a dear friend. Jane and I have been friends for many years. We met at Crosse Stitchery taking classes and spending weekends with stitching friends at a B and B in Iowa. Jane would pick me up for our weekends In her fancy little convertible and we would fly to Lansing with the top down, Bruce Springsteen blasting away, talking about God. Her faith was huge and I loved sharing that with her. I know without doubt that she is in heaven watching over her family, whom she loved completely. Her family and her dogs. She had many animal friends over the years and they were royalty in her home, as they should be. She and I messaged each other several times a week sharing pictures of our grandchildren and our kids. Especially now during Covid when it was impossible to get together. I will miss her completely but I know I will see her in heaven one day. And I will talk to her now as well, knowing she hears me. Thank you Jane Lynn for your strength and friendship! God Bless you! Diane.

I have so many fond memories of Jane traveling to dog shows where her friend Janice Wavra showed her beautiful Vizsla’s. We always laughed (and cried when the dogs lost) and shared wonderful dinners together. And, of course, there was always a little purse shopping in between! She will be truly missed. I was deeply saddened to learn of Jane’s passing. She was a friendly, cheerful, passionate lady and I will miss our grocery store chats. Over all the years she always stopped to tell me about her newest puppy or canine adventures and her warmth and joy always bubbled over when we talked. Her light shined from within and she will be greatly missed. Praying for comfort for her family and her many friends.

I feel honored to know Jane. She was such a joy to see on Fridays at noon and to hear her stories. She was always a joy to be around and it was such fun to laugh with her. Hugs to all of the family.
