I was the the secretary at Cathedral School and had the pleasure of knowing Luke. He was always such a delight. I often drove him to his grandparents when necessary. I also knew Caitlin and Madeleine, such a wonderful and caring family. May God bless you all at this difficult time and know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

I was so saddened to hear about Luke's passing. I worked with him at the Franciscan Healthcare Bakers Hearth. I enjoyed the stories he would share with me and especially his great talent he had of singing. I hope he is now singing for the angels up above. I will cherish the time that I had with him and will not forget him. God Bless you all.

Luke had been a classmate of mine for many years. He was always making people laugh with his impersonations and he always seemed to be so happy. Hearing about this truly broke my heart. I was never really close to him but we would say “hi” or “high five” in the hall. He was a great soul. My deepest sympathies to his family.

Margaret and John, There are no best words at a time like this. Nonetheless, I extend my heart to yours as you mourn the loss of Luke, knowing and believing that his present vision of his God gives him perfect joy. I also believe that God's tenderness for you at this time will outlive all the wondering and grief that is surely yours now. I am missing the ceremonies for Luke because I am in the north woods for a mini-sabbatical, I join my prayers to yours as you celebrate his life which you so abundantly shared with him all these years. Peace and all good! Sr. Marlene

Dear Family of Luke, We want to extend our deepest sympathy on the loss of your dear son, Luke. I remember when I had Madeline in the second grade at Cathedral, Luke would visit all the teachers after school. He was as sweet as Madeline and I was blessed to be touched by both of them that year. Our deepest condolences to ALL of you as you face these difficult days ahead. We hope your faith will give you strength and courage to bear this tragic loss. Please be assured of our prayers. We know Luke is resting in the arms of the angels. ( i also think he is "putting on a few shows" for the heavenly audience)!
