Patrick Lynn Mehren, 56, of La Crosse WI, passed away peacefully on August 21, 2020, and was born March 17, 1964 to Robert K. and Stella M (Tracy) Mehren.
True to the nature of being born on St Patrick’s Day, Pat had a wonderful dry sense of humor and always had a twinkle in his eye. He enjoyed playing football, basketball, baseball, softball, bowling, and golf. He loved watching and attending Packer and Brewers games. He enjoyed family vacations to Chetek and later on, times at the family cottage on Shore Acres. Pat was also a wonderful artist and graphic designer, working at Dura Tech. He designed the 1989 Oktoberfest button and also found the Oktoberfest medallion in 1988.
Graduating from Central High School in 1982, he reconnected with Julie Hengel at their 20th year reunion. They married on August 9th, 2008. They spent their years together doing all of their favorite things, playing cards, spending time on the river on their houseboat, and playing with their cats. They also enjoyed traveling, especially to Ireland for their honeymoon and numerous trips to Florida. Most of all, they treasured spending time with family members and friends, especially Calloway and Lydia, who Papa Cookie adored.
