Rachel Ann Roellich, 74, of La Crosse, WI, passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2019, at Mayo Clinic Health System-La Crosse after a long, courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Mondovi, WI on May 12, 1945 to Lonnie and Doris (Wik) Winberg. Rachel grew up in Mondovi and attended School there. She later attended cosmetology school in La Crosse.

She married Dennis Roellich on March 7, 1964 in La Crosse. They later divorced. She worked many years as a cosmetologist and later operated her own advertising business, RMatworks. Rachel was an avid Packers fan. She loved gardening, fishing, camping with her family, dancing, bowling, and boating on the Mississippi River. She also played softball for 18 years in La Crosse as a pitcher. The proudest part of Rachel’s life was being blessed with 5 children and being able to watch her family grow through her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Rachel is survived by her sons; Roger (Denise) Roellich, of La Crosse, David (Jonathan Taddeo) Roellich, of San Diego, CA, Paul (Debbie) Roellich, of La Crosse, Greg (Janice) Roellich, of La Crosse, her daughter Sarah Brudahl, of La Crosse, 4 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers Dwight (Nancy) Winberg, Wally (Sherrie Saxe) Winberg, her sister Beth (Gary) Stanton, all of Mondovi, several nieces and nephews and her dear friend Therese Roellich.

She was preceded in death by her precious mother Doris and father Lonnie Winberg, sister Leora Schultz, brothers Bruce Winberg, Steven Winberg and granddaughter Miranda Roellich.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, October 24, 2019 in Blaschke & Schneider Funeral Home, 1501 West Ave. South. Pastor Ted Dewald will officiate. Family and friends may visit from 11:00 AM until the time of services at the funeral home on Thursday.
