Rudolph “Rudy” A. Jolivette, 91, of La Crosse passed away February 11, 2019 at home surrounded by his family.  He was born June 10, 1927 to Corneilus Sr. & Josephine (Lohmueller) Jolivette.  Rudy lived on French Island his whole life.

Rudy farmed with his dad until joining the United States Air Force.  He served for 4 years and in the reserves for 2 years.  His work career included auto body work, car sales and insurance adjusting.

On June 30 1971, he married Diane and along with her five children, started their journey together.  They were married for 47 years.  His hobbies in life included, farming, which lead to a love of gardening.  He also enjoyed bowling, golfing, reading,crossword puzzles and listening to jazz music. He passed on many of his gardening skills to his children and grandchildren.

Rudy is survived by his wife Diane, their five children; daughter Kim (Jon) Voshart and their daughters Traci (Jesse) & Sarah (Michael)McKala, Chance & Rory);daughter Patty (Gary Arenz) Kendhammer and her daughters Lydia & Julia; Pam (Dick) McKim and their  daughter Amanda (Eddie) Fagan ( Madison, McKenzie, Hendrix, Haley): Kala (Coltin & Brooklin); Lindsey (Andy); son Mark (Susan) Kendhammer and their children, Nick (Hillary) Kendhammer (Chanel); Elizabeth Kendhammer , Ben & Sarah (Finley and Annah) Hunter;daughter Penny (Jim) Mickschl (Casey & Jenna); sister-in-law Mona Jolivette and several nieces and cousins.

Rudy was preceded in death by his parents and brother Neil.
