Theresa A. Miller, 79, of La Crosse, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Monday, January 6, 2014 at Gundersen Health System.

She was born March 23, 1934 in La Crosse to John and Mary (Polivoda) Hanson. She married Marcellus (Mac) Miller on August 4, 1962. They lived in La Crescent until 1980, when they moved to La Crosse.

Theresa is survived by her husband, and three children; Dennis (Karen) Miller, Bonnie Guenther, and Mary (Ron) Veglahn. She very much enjoyed her 5 grandchildren Brian (Carrie) Miller, Kari (Steve) Poulin, Eric (Laura) Veglahn, Scott (Lisa) Veglahn, and Jeff (Beth) Veglahn.

Theresa will be dearly missed by her 5 great-grandchildren, Olson Miller, Seth and Avery Poulin, Lucas Veglahn, and Benjamin Veglahn.

She is also survived by one sister, Fran Zellar, and by several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 5 brothers and a sister.

A Prayer Service will be held at 6:30 PM, Friday January 10, 2014 at Blaschke and Schneider Funeral Homes, 1501 West Ave. So., La Crosse Wis. Rev. Rick Roberts will officiate the Prayer Service. Family and friends may call from 4:30 until the time of the service. A private family burial will be held at a later date.
