Thomas 'Tom' D. Scott

Thomas ‘Tom’ D. Scott, 66, of La Crosse, died on Tuesday, November 12, 2019, in Marinuka Manor in Galesville, Wis. He was born in Winona, Minn., on March 10, 1953 to Judson and Marcella (Philipps) Scott. He married Kathleen Dvorak in 2004 in Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in Trempealeau, Wis.

Tom worked for the City of Winona for 36 years. He was a dispatcher for the emergency dispatch center for five years followed by the street department where he retired as Assistant Street Superintendent.

Tom is survived by his wife and best friend, Kathleen of La Crosse; two sons, Patrick (Malia) Scott of Winona, Minn., and Timothy Scott of Winona, Minn.; two stepchildren, Angela (Travis) Boardman of Platteville, Wis., and Erik (Nicole) Nelson of La Crosse. He is also survived by his mother Marcella (Dave Breza) Scott of Winona, Minn.; sister Shelley (Rich) Bagniewski, of Fountain City, Wis.; three brothers Mike Scott of Stockton, Minn., Paul Scott of Winona, Minn., Perry Scott of Goodview, Minn., grandchildren, Joseph Scott, Evan and Nolan Boardman, and Paige and Parker Lorenz.

He was preceded in death by his father Judson Scott and his grandson Peyton Lorenz.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, November 18, 2019, in North Presbyterian Church, 1327 N. Salem Rd., La Crosse, Wis. Pastor Scott Skogen will officiate with burial to be held in Oak Grove Cemetery, La Crosse, Wis. Family and friends may visit from 9:30 AM until the time of service at church on Monday.

Memorials may be given to The Cancer Center at Mayo Clinic Health System.
