Alyce M. Ziemann

Alyce Mae Ziemann, age 83, of La Crosse, WI, died Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at Mayo Clinic Health System in La Crosse. 

She was born in Onalaska, WI on May 1, 1940, to Oscar and Verna (Grodevant) Small.

Alyce is survived by her children: Susan MacPhetridge of La Crosse, and Dennis Ziemann of Winona, MN; grandchildren: Jordan Litsheim, Jonathan Litsheim, Zachary Ziemann, and Allison Ziemann; great-grandchildren: Nolan, Eliana, Reid, Quinn, Saylor, and Landree Sullivan, Avelynn and Addison Litsheim, and Riley Litsheim; sisters: Edith Snow of Minneapolis, Judy (Lloyd) Campbell of Brice Prairie, WI; step-brothers: Donnie (Gail) Hoefke of Chicago, IL, and Benny Hoefke of La Crosse, WI; step-sister, Donna Payne of Janesville, WI; and her best friend, confidant, and granddaughter, Jaimie (Kevin) Sullivan.

Alyce was preceded in death by her parents; siblings: Mary Lou, John Small, and David Hoefke; step-brother-in-law Tom Payne.
