Arlene M. Eirschele, 75, of La Crosse, died Friday, February 3, 2012, in her home. She was born in La Crosse, Wis., on November 9, 1936 to Lawrence and Ida (Stroeh) Ferguson. She married her loving husband Richard Eirschele on July 30, 1955, in St James the Less Catholic Church, La Crosse, Wis. She worked for Nelson’s Flag and Display and was the office manager for Midwest Security Insurance Co. for 12 years until her retirement in 2000. Arlene lived her life for her husband and her children, grandchildren and also her great grandchildren.  She enjoyed singing in Holy Trinity Catholic Church Choir and having many family gatherings.

She is survived by her husband Richard of La Crosse, Wis., her children; Sherry (Kurt) Millin, of La Crosse, Wis., Charles Eirschele of New Bern, North Carolina, Mark (Carol) Eirschele of Tucson, Ariz., Cindy Eirschele of La Crosse, Wis., and Rick (Rita) Eirschele of Cashton, Wis., 12 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.  She is further survived by her “comfort zone” her dog Rascal.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 AM, Tuesday, February 7, 2012, in Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 1333 So., 13th St., La Crosse, Wis. Rev. Rick Roberts will officiate with burial to be held in Mormon Coulee Memorial Park, La Crosse, Wis. at a later date. Family and friends may call from 5 to 8:00 PM on Monday with a Prayer Service to be held at 7:30 PM in the Blaschke & Schneider Funeral Home 1501 West Ave So., La Crosse, Wis. Family and friends may also call from 9:30 AM until the time of Mass in the Church on Tuesday.

Memorials are preferred.
