Arthur William (Bill) Scherdin

Arthur William “Bill” Scherdin, 75, of Clarksville, TN,   passed away March 2, 2013.  He was born on March 6, 1937 in La Crosse, WI to the late Arthur and Mayme Scherdin.  He was a U.S. Army veteran.  He retired from social services at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital, Ft. Campbell, KY.

He is survived by his loving wife, Lois; children, James (Desiree) Scherdin and Amy (Jeffery) Murch; step-children Nancy (Carl) Robertson, Carl Ray Parsons, and Darryll (April) Parsons; grandchildren Olivia, Samantha and Ethan; step-grandchildren Brian (Jessica), Chad (Rebecca), Rachel and Brandon; step-great grandchildren Alexis and Landon; sisters, Mary (Walter)  Bradley and Kathleen (John) Jendus; and many nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter Laurette Scherdin.

Memorial services will be held Friday, May 17^th at 10:45 a.m. at the Blaschke & Schneider Funeral Home, 1501 West Ave. S., La Crosse.  Msgr. Charles Stoetzel will officiate.  Family and friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 9:45 a.m. until the time of services.
