Braeden Felber

August 15, 2005 — September 16, 2025

LaCrosse

Braeden C. Felber, age 20, of La Crosse, passed away from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, in La Crosse. Braeden was born to Amy Felber and Brandon Sutton on August 15, 2005, in La Crosse.

Unique from the beginning, Braeden was never one to shy away from being his own person. As a young kid he protected those around him by fighting off the unseen bad guys, covertly played with his action figures, and loved video games.

Clad in Crocs and sweats, he was ready to take on life, and take on life he did. Braeden loved life and loved living life fast whether it was on his motorcycle or in a souped-up car. He loved the sound of a loud engine and flames shooting from the exhaust.

Braeden made lasting connections. He had an infectious laugh and smile, was deeply compassionate, and gave hugs that could take the weight of the world off your shoulders. He had a special relationship with his Grandma Jackie and was the best big brother to Jax and Ari. Whether they were wrestling or throwing Beanie Babies at one another there was always fun to be had. In recent years, Braeden found his people with the biking community. Here he found a sense of belonging with people who shared his love for motorcycles and cars.

He had a strong work ethic from a young age. Braeden had his first job at McDonald's at age 14. He completed an apprenticeship while in high school and was most recently employed at Performance Food Group.

Braeden loved food. Food dates and convincing family to pay for those lunch dates was among his many skills. His mom could be out on a girl's night and Braeden would track her down to join in. He was deeply hurt when his favorite coffee shop closed.

Braeden will be forever loved and remembered for his compassionate, playful and loving personality. He is survived by his parents, Amy Felber and Josh Krenz of West Salem, and Brandon Sutton, of La Crosse. Siblings, Jaxson and Ariana Krenz, of West Salem, Jayden Giertych of La Crescent, Minn., and Tayden and Nataleigh Sutton, of Sparta. Grandparents, Jackie Felber, Keith Sutton, Christy Sutton, and Donn and Becky Krenz. Aunts Abigail Felber-Smith (Stephen Smith), Cari Sutton (Abe Vanseth), Jessica (Travis) Bittelman, and Jenna Krenz. Uncles Dave Sutton, Jason McPeters and Javan Krenz. Cousins, Mackenzie McPeters, Alex McPeters, Malia Felber-Smith, Noelle Felber-Smith, Paige Vanseth, Carson Bittelman, and Tanner Bittelman. He is also survived by significant friend, Tianna Higley.
