Gary C. Moore

Gary C. Moore, 67, of La Crosse, WI passed away at his home on Monday, January 15th, 2024 surrounded by family.

He was born on August 31, 1956 in Columbus, Ohio, the son of Charles and Geraldine (Potaracke) Moore. Gary was a 1974 Graduate of La Crosse Aquinas High School. He was united in marriage to Julie Weigel on January 11, 1980 in La Crosse. Gary was a hardworking man who was determined to provide for his family. He was previously employed by Trane Company and Skipperliner of La Crosse. Gary dedicated himself to his work at Gundersen Health System, where he retired as Director of Facility Operations after 12 years of service and development.

Gary had an immense love for his grandchildren - taking great pride in all their achievements and cherishing every moment spent with them. He found joy in the open road while riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. Additionally, he had a deep appreciation for classic cars and their timeless beauty and craftmanship. He attended many car shows with his beloved 1968 Camaro.

He is survived by his wife Julie Moore; four children: Keith Arnold, Jennifer Dehning, Joel Moore, and Rachel Moore; seven grandchildren: Sawyer Arnold, Cristian Dehning, Mya Dehning, Neleh Dehning, Zane Moore, Brecken Moore, and Tenley Moore; his sister Terri Weichel; and numerous extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

Gary was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew him.

A Memorial Service is going to be held at 3:00 PM, on Saturday, January 20, 2024, in Blaschke & Schneider Funeral Home, 1501 West Ave. South. Deacon Joseph Weigel will officiate. Family and friends may visit from 1:00 PMuntil the time of the service at the Funeral Home on Saturday. Private interment will be held at a later date.
