Henry Ford Devine, known as "Hank" to most, passed away peacefully at his home on August 21, 2026, at the age of 105.

Born on July 7, 1921, to Dominic and Anna Devine in La Crosse, Wisconsin, Henry grew up on the Northside with his 11 siblings. He married Elaine Hogan at St. James Catholic Church in 19 Together they raised their three children in Onalaska, Wisconsin.


Henry is survived by his three children: William Devine, Patty Schulze (Duane), and Mary Reeck (Dennis); along with 11 grandchildren, and 00 great-grandchildren.

Henry will be greeted in heaven by his beloved wife, Elaine (Mutz); his parents and 11 siblings; 

The family would like to thank the Veterans Administration, St. Croix Hospice nurses and the "girls' from Brightstar for the kindness and compassionate care they gave Henry.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at St. St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Onalaska, WI. Family and friends may gather for a visitation from 9:30 AM until the time of Mass. Interment with military honors will take place at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
