Irene C. Dunham

Irene Catherine (Teff) Dunham, 107, of La Crosse, Wis., died Saturday, May 23, 2015, In Bethany St. Joseph Care Center, La Crosse, Wis. She was born in Dorchester, Iowa, Nov. 26, 1907, to Joseph and Lena (Schulte) Teff. She married Joseph V. “Jack” Dunham on July 9,1929, in St. James the Less Catholic Church, La Crosse, Wis.

She is survived by four daughters, Helen Hall of La Crosse, Wis., Carole (Ken) Borsheim of La Crosse, Wis., Jacquelyn (John) Tischer of Onalaska, Wis., Susan (Robert) Kjos of La Crosse, Wis., five sons; Jim (Marilyn) Dunham of La Crosse, Wis., Joseph (Cecilia)Dunham of La Crosse, Wis., Thomas “Dan” (Candace) Dunham of Onalaska, Wis., Robert (Cindy) Dunham of Rochester, Minn., and Paul (Linda) Dunham of Onalaska,Wis. 27 Grandchildren; Nancy (Jeff) Pederson, Robert V. (Debbie) Hall, Paul(Melissa) Borsheim, Charlie (Clarie) Borsheim, Julie (Larry) Wong, Mari (Tony) Dombrowski, Patricia (Rick) Angeletti II, Aaron (Kristin) Kjos, Anne (Brad) Sprehn, Terry (Kathy) Dunham, Lori Stuckey, Karen (Tony) Lyga, Diane (Duane) Tolander, Steve (Rebecca) Dunham, William (Melissa) Dunham,  Tracy (David) Whittemore, Keith (Ronnie)Dunham, Joseph R. (Lori) Dunham II, Michael (Amy) Dunham, David (Monica) Dunham, Heather (Mike) Roth, Danielle Dunham, Robert Dunham, Douglas Dunham, Karissa Loehr, Meredith Evenson, Meghan (Ryan) Quinn. 27 Grandchildren, 66 Great-Grandchildren, 16 Great-Great Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph V. “Jack” Dunham on December 21, 1964, one son, Edward “Jerry” , two grandchildren, Curt and Stuart Dunham, her parents, one son-in-law, Bud Hall, seven sisters and two brothers.

A funeral Mass will be held at 10:00AM Thursday, May 28, 2015, in St. James the Less Catholic Church 1032 Caledonia St., La Crosse, Wis. Rev. Robert Schaller will officiate with burial to be held in Catholic Cemetery, La Crosse, Wis. Family and friends may call from 8:45 AM until the time of Mass in St. James the Less Catholic Church on Thursday.
