John F. Bradley, D.D.S.
John Bradley, 94, passed away on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 in La Crosse, Wisconsin. He was born in Paterson, New Jersey on January 23, 1931 to John and Margaret (nee Dunsmore) Bradley and graduated from Saint Mary's High School in Paterson in 1949. He attended Seton Hall University for two years, and then served in the United States Air Force for four years, stationed in Japan during the Korean War as an air traffic controller. He graduated from Seton Hall University with a degree in science, and taught at Central High School in Paterson. After three years, he entered Fairleigh Dickinson University Dental School and graduated with a degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery. After private practice, he joined the Veteran's Administration and served at the Manhattan, New York City, VA hospital, becoming Assistant Chief retiring after 25 years. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, the former Carole Mackenzie, two sons, Kevin (and his wife Robin) and David (and his wife Christina), and beloved granddaughter Irina. He is also survived by his sister Mary-Lou De Blasio.
He loved golf, skiing, and woodworking while listening to classical music.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
The Blaschke & Schneider Funeral Home has been entrusted with his final arrangements.
