BESL, Jordan V.

On Sunday Sept 2nd 2018, Jordan Vincent Besl passed away in the comfort of his own home. Jordan was born April 16, 1984 to Joseph and Julie Besl, and was raised with older brother Jared, and younger brother Sammy. Jordan was loved by many. He was last to judge, but first to care when meeting someone. He always made it a point to lighten the mood with his beautiful smile or a classic movie line. He was a gentle soul with unlimited ability to love and forgive.  Jordan was a gifted man who was filled with many passions.  When passing by his home growing up, you may have smelled meats smoking, heard tunes blasting, or seen a skateboard flipping. Whatever Jordan did, he always had to do it better the next time. He had an immense passion for smoking meats, and playing music. Whether it was smoking ring bologna, stuffing hot dogs, or simply seasoning a steak, he did it with great pride. He expressed his feelings through his music, and he was never shy in telling you his favorite song, chord, or lyric. Jordan enjoyed sailing the seas of cheese with Primus, entering the Sandman with Metallica, or smelling like teen spirit with Nirvana. Jordan truly enjoyed the outdoors.   He cherished the classic Chritton family camping trip, fishing with his “Auntie” Rose and “Unkie” Bob, boat rides with the Frosts, and competitive bike rides with his best bud Curtis.  Jordan had a village of mothers growing up, but shared a special bond with his own mother. He fulfilled his lifelong dream of seeing Metallica with his “Pops” and made sure to tell everyone about it.

Jordan had many friends of whom he shared a special bond with, but none stole his heart like his Lydia Grace, and fiancé Katharine, which were HIS girls. Jordan had a big family of cousins growing up, and it was apparent he loved them unconditionally, and with all his heart. He will be missed and remembered by all who knew him, and will live in the hearts  forever.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM, on Saturday, September 8, 2018, in St. James the Less Catholic Church, 1032 Caledonia Street, La Crosse, Wis. Rev. Matthew Marshall will officiate with burial to be held in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, La Crosse. If you believe in forever,
Then life is just a one night stand. If there’s a rock n roll heaven,
Well you know they’ve got a hell of a band.
There’s a spotlight waiting
No matter who you are
Cause everybody’s got a song to sing,
Everyone’s a star

Rock on Jordy B!
