Jude Rand

Jude Ann Rand of La Crosse, WI passed away on Wednesday, November 26,2025. She was born on October 30th, 1935, in La Crosse, daughter of Patrice and Donald Rand. She attended Aquinas High School, La Crosse State College before graduating from Indiana University in Bloomington IN. She received a bachelor's degree in history. Jude chose teaching as her profession, first in Chaska, MN then in Air Force DOD schools in England, and then back to St. Paul for many years.

She enjoyed traveling and visiting family and friends. Jude loved her two shelties: Thistle and Willy.

Jude is survived by four siblings, Michael (Ann) Rand, Daniel (Nancy) Rand, Peggy (Tom) Edgerton, and Patrice (B.J.) Azarvand. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Kathryn (Dan) Jack and Patsy Ann and her brother David (Young Leh) Rand.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, May 15th, 2026, at 11 am followed by interment of ashes at La Crosse Catholic cemetery. The Blaschke & Schneider Funeral Home has been entrusted with the final arrangements.
