Judith "Judy" Ringler

Judith M. “Judy” Ringler, 82, of La Crosse, WI died on Sunday, April 23, 2023, at the Benedictine Manor in La Crosse.

Judith Mae Small was born on August 27, 1940, in La Crosse to LeRoy and Beulah (Ball) Small. She was raised in La Crosse and Black River Falls, WI. Judy married Robert L. Huebner. To this marriage were born two children. With Robert being in the military, Judy lived many years in Puerto Rico, Japan and Corpus Christi, TX. They later divorced. She then married Jerry Ringler. In 2001, Judy moved back to Black River Falls and in 2007, moved to La Crosse. She spent many years of her career working as a bank teller. In her spare time Judy enjoyed playing free cell and sewing. Especially sewing square dancing western shirts.

Judy is survived by two children: Brian Huebner (fiance, Karen Johnson) of Black River Falls, WI, and Lisa (Tim) Willingham of San Angelo, TX; three grandchildren: Sean, Jason and Erin; four great-grandchildren; four siblings: Cheryl (James) Drangstveit, Marilyn Halverson, Virginia Hastings, and Phillip Small; and by 151 nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, half-brother, LeRoy Small Jr.; brother, Robert Small; and three sisters: Edna Dunn, Jeanette Papenfus and Martha Volitile.

There will be a memorial service for Judy at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 3, at Blaschke and Schneider Funeral Home (1501 West Avenue South in La Crosse).
