Linda A. Butzman, 79, of Onalaska, died on Friday, July 12, 2024, in Gundersen Medical Center. She was born in La Crosse on October 5, 1944, to Arthur and Blanche Kofta. She married Harold Bruring, and they later divorced. She then married Otto Butzman in June of 1969.
Linda loved spending time with family and friends. She spent a lot of time with her Onalaska American Legion family, and would play bingo on Tuesdays with Josh, Jaydon, and Alyssa. The friends and neighbors that she met after moving to an apartment in 2020, made her so happy, and helped her once she was unable to drive anymore. We are grateful for her support system of many family, friends, and neighbors.
She is survived by her two daughters, Vickie (Dave) Evenson and Lisa (Duane) Limberg; two sons, Todd (Lisa) Butzman and Scott (Kari) Butzman; nine grandchildren, Kevin Evenson, Kelly (Zach) Corsten, Keith Evenson, Matt Limberg, Mike (Mallory) Limberg, Josh Butzman, Jaydon Butzman, Liam Butzman, and Reagan Butzman; and seven great-grandchildren, Carter, Caleb, Kayla, Sam, Andrew, Noah and Luca Evenson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, spouse Otto in 2018, four brothers, and one sister.
A Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at Blaschke & Schneider Funeral Home, 1501 West Ave. South, La Crosse. Burial, with a prayer service, will follow the visitation, at Mormon Coulee Memorial Park Cemetery.
Memorials are preferred to the Onalaska American Legion Post 336.
