Lloyd Herman Miller was called to the Lord on Wednesday March 12th surrounded by his loving family. Lloyd Herman Miller was born on May 17,1933 to Herman and Armella Miller in Waunakee, WI. He attended St. John's Catholic School and Waunakee High School both in Waunakee, WI.
Lloyd married Evelyn Haber on March 4,1953. Children born to this union were Deborah Marie Stark (Dave), Michael Dean Miller (Sandra), Timothy John Miller (Rita) and Brian Lloyd Miller (Julie)
He is survived by by his loving wife and partner of 73 years Evelyn, 4 children 8 grandchildren, Kevin (Peggy), Matt (Aubree), Vicki Ryan (Joe), Tracy Fodroczi (Brian), Jason (Whitney), Dan Woodworth, Jen Peickert (Ryan), Rebecca Cobb (Jim). He is also survived by 18 great grandchildren. Lloyd moved his family to Onalaska, WI where he built the Medary Garden Center. The Garden Center did landscaping until the land was sold to the Center Company who built the Valley View Mall.
After selling his business he moved in different directions eventually retiring as warehouse manager for D.S. Electric.
Some of Lloyd's interests and passions included spending as much time as he could at his cabin. He enjoyed mowing with his little Cub Loboy tractor and keeping the grounds groomed. He also spent many hours there gracefully sharing it with family and friends whether it be deer, turkey hunting or just hanging out. He also looked forward to his annual musky fishing trip with son Brian. If you ever want a lesson in playing Euchre, he was always quick to oblige. Being a kind person, he still took great enjoyment in winning. (Which he normally did).
One of his most important accomplishments was being a Fourth Degree in the Knights of Columbus. He always cherished their friendship and was willing to help as much as he could.
Mass of Christian burial will be Wednesday March 18th at St. Patrick's Catholic Church at 11:00 am with visitation at the church starting at 9:00 am.
In lieu of flowers the family wishes memorials be made to the Father Rositer Endowment or Gundersen Medical Foundation in his name.
The family wishes to extend our thanks and appreciation to all the Hospice workers and caregivers at Gundersen Medical that provided for our Lloyd!
