Myrna Remington

Myrna Mae Remington, age 77 passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2024 in LaCrosse, Wisconsin with her loving family by her side. She was born May 15, 1947 along with her twin sister Mary in Iowa City, Iowa, the daughter of Martha (Suiter) and Arthur Hunt.

Myrna enjoyed playing bingo, playing cards, fishing, and was a great cook. She bartended and cooked for many establishments in the area. She was also employed by Northern Engraving and Lansing button factory. She married Claire Remington November 15, 1985 in Desoto, Wisconsin.

Myrna is survived by her husband of 38 years, Claire Remington; children, John Stevens, Tina (Fredys) Molina, step-children, Todd Remington, Mike (Lori) Remington, Kimberly (Dave) Jones, Kris (Mike) Stuckey, Kari (Jim) Hagensick; grandchildren, Anneka (Randy), Tucker, Carretha (Darnell); great grandchildren, Jux, Leland, Aya and Neko. Also survived by many step grandchildren and step great grandchildren; twin sister Mary Cox, sister, Evelyn East, brother, Joe (Sally) Hunt, sister-in-law, Gloria Hunt and nieces & nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Larry Hunt and brother-in-law, Ray East.

A celebration of life will be held on July 28, 2024 from 1p.m. to 5p.m. at the Radisson Hotel ~ Wisconsin Room on 200 Second Street South, 200 Harborview Plaza, La Crosse, WI 54601.
