Nancy Jean Wall

Nancy Jean Wall (Turner) passed away peacefully on April 10th, 2026, at the age of 71 from natural causes. Nancy was born May 14th, 1954, at St. Ann’s Hospital in La Crosse, WI, to Myron and Gloria Turner.

Nancy graduated high school from Central in 1972. She went on to Sacred Heart School of Practical Nursing in Milwaukee, graduating in 1976. She received an EMT license from WWTI in 1980, followed by an LPN degree from Madison Area Technical College in 1982. She then became an RN in 1983, working at Gundersen Lutheran and Meriter Hospital in Madison. Nancy was also in the National Guard Ready Reserve and helped facilitate the placement of Cuban Refugees from the Mariel Boatlift in 1980. She received an honorable discharge in 1984.

Nancy loved animals, gardening, fishing, travel, the Packers, and of course, the Badgers (a season ticket holder for years).

Nancy married Patrick Wall in 1987, and they later divorced. Nancy is survived by her brothers; Brent (Sue), Brian (Chris), and John (Cheri). She is further survived by 2 nieces; Channon and Jennifer, 4 nephews; Tim, Nick, Alex, and Michael. Also 3 great nieces; Emma, Sophie, and Lucy and 2 great nephews; Max and West.

Our family would like to thank all social workers, first responders, medical personnel, and Blaschke Funeral staff for taking care of Nancy so respectfully.
