Patricia Karen Sands

Patricia “Penny” Karen Sands, 78, of La Crosse, WI died on Monday, October 3, 2022, at Northgate Care Center in Waukon, IA.

Penny was born on August 14, 1944, to Harold and Francis Mathison. She lived on the north side of La Crosse for the majority of her live. She graduated from Logan High School. On July 2, 1966, Patricia and Jerry Sands were united in marriage in La Crosse, WI. Penny worked for the Onalaska School District where she ran a copy center. Penny loved all types of flowers, but lilies were her favorite.

Penny is survived by her children, David Sands, James Sands, Jerry (Heather) Sands, and Fabian Carrimon; six grandchildren, Jesse, Sara, Callie, Jakob, Jordan, and Brendan; great-grandchild, Runa; brothers, Paul, and Edwin; and sister, Charla.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jerry; brothers, Lucky, Jim, Don; and sister, Faye.

There will be a visitation for Penny on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at Blaschke and Schneider Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
