SANDER, Paul D.

Paul D. Sander, 47, of La Crosse, Wis., died peacefully surrounded by his family Wednesday, July 20, 2016, in Mayo Health System, La Crosse, Wis. He was born in De Witt, Iowa, on Feb. 11, 1969, to Douglas and Sandra (Campbell) Sander.

Paul, first and foremost, loved his family. He grew up in Camanche, Iowa, graduation from Camanche High Class of 1987. He moved to Prairie du Chien, Wis., where he completed his Bachelor of Arts Degree at Upper Iowa University. After coming to La Crosse, Wis., he was employed at River States Truck and Trailer Sales as an Outside Salesman. Paul loved the people contact his job provided. Paul loved to boat, fish, his yard work, landscaping, decorating for Christmas and to Grill outdoors.

He is survived by his daughter; Zoey Sander of Onalaska, Wis., one son; Zachary (Leah) Sander of La Crosse, Wis., his parents; Douglas and Sandra Sander of Summerfield, Fla., one sister; Sara (Brad) Point of Council Bluffs, Iowa, his maternal grandfather; Maurice Campbell of Waverley, Iowa, mothers of his children; Jennifer Johnson and Chris Sander. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, friends and family.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Jennifer (Sander) Blaylock and his Paternal grandparents, Maternal grandmother.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, July 23, 2016, in Blaschke & Schneider Funeral Home, 1501 West Ave. So., La Crosse, Wis. Rev. Matt Toso will officiate with graveside services to be held at 1:30 PM, in Rose Hill Cemetery, Camanche, Iowa. Family and friends may visit from 9:00 AM until the time of services at Blaschke & Schneider Funeral Homes.

Memorials are preferred and will be determined by the family at a later date.
