Robert Tryggestad

Robert "Bob" D. Tryggestad, age 84 of Stoddard passed away Saturday, August 23, 2025 at

Mayo Clinic Health System-Sparta. He was born September 16, 1940 in Rochester, Minnesota,

the son of Grace (Erickson) and Lloyd Tryggestad.

Bob is a graduate of Winona State University and School of Physical Therapy in Rochester,

Minnesota. He was employed for 50 years at Mayo Clinic Health System as a Physical Therapist.

He married Pamela Callies in 1963 and together they raised two sons.

Bob is survived by his wife, Pamela, sons, Tom (Kim) Tryggestad and Matt (Melanie) Tryggestad,

grandchildren, Koby Tryggestad and Noah Tryggestad.

He is preceded in death by his infant daughter, Christina Grace Tryggestad, his parents and

brother, Kenneth.

He was a loving husband to his wife of over 62 years, a present and nurturing father to his sons, adoring father-in-law and grandfather, and a great friend to many.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, September 8, 2025 at Awaken Church,

W4160 County Road O, LaCrosse, WI 54601. Family and friends may gather for a visitation one

hour prior to the service. A private family burial will take place in Oakwood Cemetery in

Rochester, Minnesota following the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the recipient of their choice.

The Blaschke & Schneider Funeral Home has been entrusted with Robert's final arrangements.
