WALDERA, Roger A.
RogerÂ A. Waldera, 66, ofÂ Onalaska, Wis., died Tuesday, September 2, 2014, in His home surrounded by hisÂ family. He was born in Arcadia, Wis., on January 28, 1948 toÂ Alfred â€œFritzâ€ andÂ Loraine (Fonfara) Waldera. He married Carol J. Mueller onÂ May. 20, 1972 at OurÂ Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Arcadia, Wis.Â He graduated from Logan High SchoolÂ Class of 1966. Roger served our country in the US Army.Â Roger served our countryÂ in the United States Army National Guard. He worked at ArtÂ Mart and MetallicsÂ until his retirement.
He isÂ survived by his wife;Â Carol of Onalaska, Wis., sons; Dale and Keith Waldera bothÂ of Onalaska, Wis.,
sister; Ann (Roy) Pasquarette of Minneapolis, Minn., twoÂ Brothers; Kenneth ofÂ Rochester, Minn., and Thomas of La Crosse, Wis. aunts,Â Marian Marshall ofÂ Winona, Minn., and Amy Fonfara of Kenosha, Wis. He isÂ further survived by manyÂ nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends and special friends Angie and Patti.
He wasÂ preceded in death byÂ his parents Alfred â€œFritzâ€ and Loraine Waldera, hisÂ sister; Bonnie Waldera, andÂ his brother; Wayne â€œWallyâ€Â Waldera.Â
AÂ funeral Mass will be heldÂ at 10:30 AM, Tuesday Sept. 9, 2014, in St. Patrickâ€™sÂ Catholic Church, 1031 MainÂ St. Onalaska, Wis. Msgr. Steven Kachel will officiate, withÂ a burial withÂ military rites by the Roy L. Vingers American Legion PostÂ 52, to be held in GateÂ of Heaven Cemetery in La Crosse, Wis. Friends and family mayÂ call from 9:30 AMÂ until the time of Mass in St. Patrickâ€™s Catholic Church onÂ Tuesday.
