Sally Ann (Kendhammer) Hall

LA CROSSE – Sally Ann (Kendhammer) Hall, 80, of La Crosse lost her courageous battle to cancer with her family by her side on Thursday, May 24, 2018, at Bethany Riverside.   She was born January 26, 1938, in La Crosse.

A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, she will be greatly missed.

Sally is survived by her husband, Norman Hall of 36 years; two sons, Lonnie (Sue), Dannie (Lori) Turner, one daughter, Terrie Turner (David); 2 step-daughters, Lisa and Kirsten Hall, 2 step-sons, Brian and Tim Hall, eight grandchildren, one step-granddaughter, 6 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; brother Michael (Marilyn) Kendhammer, and her two nieces.

Sally was preceded in death by her parents Marcellus and LaVerne Kendhammer; brother James and an infant brother Robert.

Sally worked at UW-La Crosse, Settle Inn, and Bethany Lutheran Homes. She attended St. Joseph Elementary School and Aquinas High School.

The Christmas season was her favorite time of year. She was known for her baking, decorating, and the love for her dogs.

The family would like to thank Kelly Lay, Dr. Kwong, and the Oncology Department at Gundersen Health System.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Friday, June 8, 2018, in the Blaschke & Schneider Funeral Home 1501 West Ave. So., La Crosse, Wis. Msgr. Charles Stoetzel will officiate with private family burial to be held at a later date. Family and friends may visit from 4 to 7:00 PM Thursday at the Blaschke & Schneider Funeral Home. Family and friends may also visit from 9:00 AM until the time of services in the funeral home on Friday.
