Willard 'Bill' G. Hart

Willard ‘Butch’ ‘Bill’ Gene Hart, 77, of La Crosse, died on Friday, May 19, 2023, in Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center, La Crosse. He was born in La Crosse, on Oct. 31, 1945, to Ervin Clarence Pearl Hart, and Ethel Evelyn Luce Hart. He married Kimberly A. Alexander, on April 14, 2007, in Holy Trinity Catholic Church.

Bill loved being a part of the La Crosse Skyrockers, Oktoberfest Parade Committee, Airfest, and the Flyers Club. He was a past member of the Coulee Classic Car Club, and worked at Trane for 37 years, the last 10 in Receiving.

He is survived by his wife Kimberly A. (Alexander) Hart; daughters Della (Eddie) Figueroa and Dawn R. Hart; sons, Jon Hart, James (Tanya) Hart; step-son Michael (Jessica Bakke) Garcia, 14 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his three sisters, Shirley Hart, Karen Hart, and Bobbie Cree.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, and one grandson, Matt Rigelman.

A Celebration of Bill’s Life will be held on Sunday, June 4, 2023, from 1:00 to 5:00 PM, at the French Island American Legion Post 417, 700 Fisherman Rd., French Island, Wis.
