We’ll start things off with a short program, “10 Things You Probably Didn’t Know About Funerals & Cremation.” Pat Zalusky, Jen Corcoran, and Jane Brannan will discuss funeral and cremation options and veteran benefits. After the session, funeral directors Ashley HoffCzaplewski and Adam Schneider will be available to answer questions.


This will be a great opportunity to dispel myths, remove doubt, and get real answers to any questions you might have.

Pat Zalusky, Laker Planning Service, has been helping families plan funeral and cremation services for over 30 years. He will discuss funeral costs, cremation practices, “green” options, obituaries, headstones, celebrations of life, Medicaid (Title 19) spend down rules, Minnesota guidelines for prepaid funerals, and more.

Ashley Hoff-Czaplewski and Adam Schneider, Funeral Directors, will be on hand to greet everyone and to share their perspective on the value of advance funeral planning. They see, firsthand, the peace and comfort that can be provided to families when advance directives have been put in place.
